MEMBERSHIP
Membership is available to all hospital personnel and to students attending courses here at St Patricks Hospital/Marymount Hospice.

BORROWING
Members of staff may borrow 4 books for a period of 4 weeks. Students may borrow 3 books for a period of 2 weeks. Books may be renewed if not requested by another reader. Journals may not be borrowed.

CATALOGUE
The library catalogue and electronic resources can be accessed from the shared drive on any of the computers throughout the hospital.

LIBRARY SUBSCRIPTIONS
The library subscribes to the following Palliative and Elderly care journals & ebooks. Most journal subscriptions include online content. Access to the online content from outside the hospital network is with an Athens account. Please contact the library for further details or alternatively log in to MyAthens.

INTER-LIBRARY LOAN SERVICE
Journal articles which are not available in the library can be ordered from other sources. Book loans are available from The British Library, Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin. Charges apply. Please contact the Librarian for further details.

PHOTOCOPYING
All library material can be photocopied. A self-service photocopying machine is available in the Education Centre. All photocopying is subject to the provisions of the Irish Copyright Act.
